Dear All,
I have purchased for myself a copy of Bret Easton Ellis’ “American Psycho” for the process of research. I have already read “Lolita”- an excellent book, highly recommended; Nabokov is brilliant. I have also finished “House of God”, and I have a copy of “Catcher in the Rye” by J.D. Salinger. My next targets, ostensibly, should be certain selected […]

Dear All,
It seems that my character, valdemosthenes, appears to others to be slightly different than I had imagined her. Adjectives used to describe her thus far: naïve, flowery, soft, weak, passive. This is giving me some doubts about my ability to portray this character adequately. She is not meant to have those as her main attributes […]

Dear All,

I should not really put a comment in here every single time that I post upon dear Dire Assassin. I suppose it is clear now that I am adopting a more novelistic style for Part Two. The new characters are drawn pretty much from the archetypal medical students that populate our clinical schools. The “med jocks” (people such as […]

Dear All,
With tonight’s post on DireAssassin begins Part Two of the story. This means, of course, new and exciting characters! In the interests of a depth of story, two of her fellow medical students, Adeline (valdemosthenes) and Claire (diced_mice, courtesy of thewolfone) now have LiveJournals.
There isn’t much more to say, except that I am rather, rather tired.
Yours,
Deutschy, […]

Dear All,

As you are probably aware, I have continued the journal of the “lovely” Dire Assassin. Perhaps I should explain: I had given up on that blog as it had offended too many people who in fact believed those thoughts to be my own, which was somewhat the point, as it was an “alternate explanation” for the actions […]

Dear All,
I am considering whether to start posting on DireAssassin, that oh-so-maligned LiveJournal account of mine, or not. I actually have a fair idea of where to take this character now. There are a lot of interesting themes left to explore and discover, and LiveJournal format worked well in the past.
Why the reservations? Because of what happened last time. […]
